What to Expect
As a cash-based, mobile practice, SISU Physical Therapy is designed around your convenience and outcomes — not insurance limitations. Every session is one-on-one, in your own environment, with a clear plan and measurable progress.
1. Comprehensive Neurological Assessment
Your first visit includes a detailed review of your medical history, current symptoms, and personal goals. Dr. Jaasko evaluates strength, sensation, coordination, balance, gait, and functional mobility, as well as how your home setup impacts your safety and independence.
2. Individualized Treatment Plan
Based on your assessment, you’ll receive a personalized treatment plan that may include gait training, balance and vestibular exercises, coordination and dual-task activities, strengthening, flexibility, and functional mobility training such as transfers, stairs, and community walking.
3. Ongoing Progress Tracking & Home Program
Together, you and Dr. Jaasko will regularly review your progress using meaningful, evidence-based outcome measures. You’ll receive a clear home exercise and activity program, updated as you improve, so you can confidently continue your rehabilitation between visits.
